This might be all you need to know about Rahsaan Roland Kirk: he was able to play three saxophones at the same time, along with a nose flute, all while circular breathing. This engaging documentary underscores Kirk’s visionary artistry, following his life from the time he was blinded as an infant to becoming a jazz musician and an activist. 

Bring your own beverages, blankets, and snacks if you have ‘em and snuggle into the NCRC.

Pre-show DJ set by ilind who will be playing some rare, explorative, and free jazz tracks from Kirk’s era to present.
