I’m sitting down with Alina Orav at Dateline Gallery this Saturday to talk about her solo show. Topics we’ll likely conjure: shared Baltic/Eastern European culture and trauma, art-as-research and research informing art, gaping body holes, hijacking’s visual perception, and the Cocteau Twins. We’ll put the kettle on. All you have to do is show up.
New 4D Sculpture on View
“If Only, a Demodulation,” my new 4D sculpture, is making its debut! The video is projected onto the Clocktower all through June, nearly every night between 9pm and midnight in Downtown Denver, as part of the Night Lights Denver program. A great viewing location is at the corner of 16th St and Curtis St. from the ground level.
Many thanks to Quentin “Q” Thomas for modeling for this project and to David Moke for the support and opportunity.
Exhibit Opening In Sweden
If you happen to be in Sweden, my work will be showing at the Rejmyre Artlab opening March 16th and running through June 6th. Thoughtfully curated by Anna Märta Danielsson.
